Los Angeles Climate Package

The climate of Los Angeles is normally pleasant and mild throughout the year. The Pacific Ocean is the primary moderating influence. The coastal mountain ranges lying along the north and east sides of the Los Angeles coastal basin act as a buffer against extremes of summer heat and winter cold, which occur in the desert and plateau regions of the interior. Mild sea breezes, and either hot or cold winds from the interior results in a variety of weather conditions, but temperature and humidity usually remain well within the limits of human comfort. There can also be a pronounced difference in temperature, humidity, cloudiness, fog, rain, and sunshine over fairly short distances.
